PHILANTHROPIC WORK IN L.A.
Empowering Our Own Los Angeles Community
The Honey Project began as a mission to uplift the next generation of underserved communities in Peru. But under the leadership of President & co-founder, Sydney Assil, we’re proud to announce our expansion back home. Explore the events below to see how we’re empowering our local community.
Boys & Girls Club Partner Program
Our partnership with Boys & Girls club began May 2025, set to run through 2026. During this time, we’re bringing Los Angeles high school students to mentor underserved communities at Boys & Girls Club locations in Los Angeles.
Emergency Wildfire Relief
In 2025 The Honey Project spearheaded a city-wide supply drive for victims of the Los Angeles wildfires. Together with our local community, we collected everything from clothing and hygiene products to first aid supplies and homeware, helping L.A. residents affected by the disaster.
Valentino Fundraiser in Beverly Hills
In 2023 The Honey Project hosted a fundraiser at the Valentino store in Beverly Hills, where 20% of the store’s profits from that night were donated to causes organized by our organization.
